Kanye West announces collaboration with 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne

Kanye's tweets don’t always make the most sense, but his latest one is clear: The rapper will be teaming up with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz for a new project that is set to release this friday. Earlier this morning Kanye tweeted the announcement and artwork featuring a close-up photo of 2 Chainz’s face decorated with Lil Wayne’s tattoos and piercings. West and 2 Chainz have previously joined forces on 2 Chainz’s “Birthday Song” and West’s “Mercy” while West and Lil Wayne have also teamed up for “Barry Bonds” off Graduation and 808s & Heartbreak’s “See You in My Nightmares.” Although West didn’t provide any other details about the collaboration, there’s a chance this could be the same one 2 Chainz teased back in November when he told Rap Radar podcast that he and Wayne were working on a project titled ColliGrove.
